Employee Parking Permit

The Greater Sudbury Airport offers complimentary Employee Parking Permit to active airport personnel who are currently based out of the Greater Sudbury Airport.

Employees are reminded to keep their approved Airport Employee Parking Permit visible through the windshield of their registered vehicle at all times when parked in the Employee Parking Lot. 

If using a temporary vehicle that is not registered to your account, please contact the Airport Pass Office to advise them. 

All Employee Parking Permit renewals must be completed prior to June 1 each year.

Misuse of the Airport Employee Parking Lot may result in a violation ticket, towing of vehicle at the owner’s expense, and termination of your Employee Parking Permit.

Request or Renew an Employee Parking Permit

To request or renew an Employee Parking Permit, please contact the Pass Office directly.

  • your name
  • your employer
  • your supervisor and contact information

The Pass Office will process all requests and renewals for an Employee Parking Permit.

Terms and Conditions of Employee Parking Permit

All holders of a Greater Sudbury Airport Employee Parking Permit will be required to read, understand, and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of issue outlined below.

IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS:*

As a holder of an employee parking permit issued by the Greater Sudbury Airport, I understand, agree to and will abide by the following Terms and Conditions:

  1. Only one parking permit per employee will be issued.
  2. That the parking permit issued to me is the property of the Greater Sudbury Airport and must be returned to the Greater Sudbury Airport upon cancellation of my parking privileges or upon demand. Permits must not be tampered with at any time.
  3. That the parking permit will be displayed on the rear view mirror or dashboard with the tag number and expiration date clearly visible from the exterior of the vehicle where applicable. If the parking permit is not displayed as required, the vehicle may be ticketed.
  4. That I will use the parking permit to park only a private passenger vehicle with no trailers in the designated area assigned by the Greater Sudbury Airport. Only one vehicle per employee can be parked in the lot at any given time. I will not transfer, loan or permit unauthorized.use of the parking permit. Any misuse of the parking permit may result in the loss of parking privileges.
  5. The Greater Sudbury Airport assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to the vehicle and/or its contents.
  6. If I intend to park in the employee parking facility for more than 14 consecutive days, I am required to notify Airport security and the Greater Sudbury Airport administration office.
  7. I will notify and provide the Greater Sudbury Airport Administrative office of any changes in my name or vehicle information
  8. I am subject to a non-refundable $50 plus HST replacement fee if my issued parking permit is lost or stolen
  9. For snow removal efforts I understand that the employee parking lot is cleared as much as possible during the initial clearing process, however, is not priority due to customer obligations
  10. I am responsible to return my Employee Parking Pass to my employer upon terminating my employment. I am aware that there will be a $50.00 replacement fee if it is not returned.
