The Road Safety World Series (RSWS) is an annual T20 tournament between retired masters from the major cricket-playing nations – England, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, West Indies and India. Sunil Gavaskar is the commissioner of the program while Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of the league.

Last season saw 160 retired international cricketers in action, including Jonty Rhodes, Carl Hooper, Tillekaraten Dilshan, Virender Sehwag, Yuvraj Singh and Australian speedster Brett Link. Both top scorer and wicket taker, Dillon was the Player of the Series in the inaugural edition of the RSWS.

The second season of the Road Safety World Series 2022 will begin on September 10 with a clash between the Indian Legends and the South African Legends at the Greenpark Stadium in Kanpur.
Sachin Tendulkar’s Indian legend and Jonty Rhodes’ South African legend will compete to kick off the first leg of the 21-day league.
