The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 season is just around the corner as the tournament kicks off with the league stage scheduled from 31st March 2023 to 21st May 2023.

The 16th season of the IPL will see ten teams compete home and away at the league level, with the top four teams advancing to the playoffs – Eliminator, Second Round and Final.

Unlike the previous three editions, which were affected by the COVID pandemic, the 2023 IPL will return to a home-and-home format, with all ten teams playing their home matches at their home venues.

A total of 74 matches will be played at 12 venues. The league stage ends on May 21st, with the eliminator, qualifiers and finals ending on May 28th.
