The fixture list for the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia has been announced and the draw for the first round and Super 12 group has also been confirmed.
The tournament will be held between Sunday 18 October and Sunday 13 November, with 16 teams participating and seven cities across Australia hosting matches. Twelve of those 16 countries have been confirmed, with the final four determined by global qualifying.
England, New Zealand, Australia and Afghanistan have been drawn together in Group 1, with India, Pakistan, South Africa and Bangladesh in Group 2.
The Super 12 will get off to a dramatic start in Sydney with a meeting between the two finalists of the 2021 World Cup, with New Zealand facing defending champions Australia on Saturday 22 October.

Apart from Australia vs New Zealand and Pakistan vs India on the opening weekend, a number of other games at the Super 12 stage stand out as potential key fixtures.
