India Women Players Finally Set To Receive T20 World Cup Prize Money
Almost 15 months after finishing as the winners of the T20 World Cup, the Indian women’s team will finally get their share of the USD 500,000 (approx. INR 3.5 million) prize money. The BCCI on Monday asked the players to raise invoices to claim their shares. The development comes a day after UK publication The Telegraph revealed that the team had not yet been paid their prize money.
